Mochii is the first spectroscopic scanning electron microscope in space.

Launch Experiments in Microgravity

The Mochii ISS National Laboratory

The Mochii ISS National Laboratory (ISS-NL) Facility provides elemental analysis and nano-imaging in low Earth orbit (LEO), supporting microgravity science and engineering for the benefit of humankind.

Mochii ISS-NL is a powerful and unique commercial platform serving academic research, commercial customers, and NASA and ISS International Partners. Mochii's unique remote data/communication model enables simultaneous collaborative ground access to SEM imaging and elemental analysis with minimal impact to crew time.

Mochii recently passed NASA integration verifications and completed operational science demonstrations during NASA's NEEMO 23 undersea mission. The rigor of NASA flight verification and mission experience enhances Mochii's field ruggedness, benefiting both ISS and terrestrial customers.

Mochii traveled to the ISS on Feb 15, 2020 aboard the Northrop Grumman NG-13 Antares/Cygnus vehicle and berthed with ISS a few days later. Following initial on-board testing, Mochii ISS-NL will be available for use by the international research and engineering community.

Voxa will serve as your implementation partner supporting your novel research on the ISS. Please contact us with your research ideas for microgravity science on ISS with Mochii to conduct research on the world's only microgravity research platform.
